Week 7 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Latest Fantasy Football Lineup Advice for Sunday

The 2024 NFL season has been a bit weird for fantasy football managers. Several star players who were undoubtedly drafted highly have either underperformed or been unavailable altogether because of injuries.
This has frequently left managers facing tough lineup decisions, and things won't get a whole lot easier in Week 7. The Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys are on bye this week, and several usually reliable options are facing less-than-ideal situations.
You'll find a look at a few of those situations here, along with some start-sit recommendations for Week 7.
All picks and analysis are based on point-per-reception (PPR) scoring.
Start: Kenneth Walker III, RB, Seattle Seahawks
- Saquon Barkley at New York Giants
- Kyren Williams vs. Las Vegas Raiders
- Bijan Robinson vs. Seattle Seahawks
- Chuba Hubbard at Washington Commanders

While Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III isn't on our list of must-start players for Sunday, he should fare well enough in a difficult matchup.
The Atlanta Falcons have allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs this season. Atlanta is also beginning to find an offensive rhythm and could leave Seattle trying to play catch-up on the scoreboard.
The Seahawks' offensive plan could quickly become one centered around Geno Smith, DK Metcalf and the passing game. Yet, Walker is involved enough as a pass-catcher to give him a solid floor for Week 7.
The third-year back has caught 15 passes over the past two weeks while topping 60 scrimmage yards in each of those contests. Walker can be trusted this week, even if he's not a top scorer.
Week 7 RB Must-Starts for Sunday
Sit: Jaylen Warren, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers
- Travis Etienne Jr. vs. New England Patriots
- Devin Singletary vs. Philadelphia Eagles
- Ty Johnson vs. Buffalo Bills
- Braelon Allen at Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren (knee) returned to action in Week 6, though he was firmly behind starter Najee Harris in terms of workload. He did catch three passes but tallied just 18 scrimmage yards against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Now, there's some uncertainty about how Warren will be used if Pittsburgh makes the switch to Russell Wilson at quarterback. Justin Fields has started for the Steelers thus far, but a change appears imminent after Wilson got first-team reps during the week.
"He's been out there the past few weeks, so it's good getting him in first-team reps," Steelers tackle Dan Moore Jr. said of Wilson, per ESPN's Brooke Pryor.
It's impossible to trust Warren, who doesn't have an enticing matchup either. The New York Jets have allowed the ninth-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs.
Week 7 RB Must-Sits
Start: Drake London, WR, Atlanta Falcons
- Justin Jefferson vs. Detroit Lions
- Amon-Ra St. Brown at Minnesota Vikings
- Ja'Marr Chase at Cleveland Browns
- Malik Nabers vs. Philadelphia Eagles

There are a couple of reasons to be concerned with Falcons wide receiver Drake London this week. For one, Atlanta will host the Seahawks, who have allowed the 11th-fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers.
Secondly, the Falcons may take a run-heavy approach against a Seattle defense that is allowing 5.0 yards per carry on the ground. There's a good chance we see a lot more of Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier than Kirk Cousins and the passing game.
Still, we can't fade London too much. He's finally settling in as a No. 1 target, and he's earned Cousins' trust through the first six weeks. The third-year wideout has caught no fewer than six passes in each of the last four games, and he's found the end zone in four of those five contests.
London might not top 100 receiving yards, as he did in Week 5, but his PPR floor is high enough to trust against Seattle.
Week 7 WR Must-Starts
Sit: Keon Coleman, WR, Buffalo Bills
- George Pickens vs. New York Jets
- Calvin Ridley at Buffalo Bills
- Allen Lazard at Pittsburgh Steelers
- Justin Watson at San Francisco 49ers

Though they have been sporadic, Buffalo Bills rookie receiver Keon Coleman has shown flashes of promise over the past month. He found the end zone in two of his last four games and had three receptions in each of the other two.
However, Coleman remains a touchdown-dependent option who carries a low yardage floor. He's reached 51 receiving yards twice this season, but 51 yards represents his high-water mark.
The arrival of trade acquisition Amari Cooper adds even more bust potential to Coleman's fantasy stock, though it's unclear what sort of role Cooper can have in Week 7.
Regardless, this isn't the week to hope for a breakout by the Bills rookie. Buffalo will host the Tennessee Titans, who have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers.
