Cowboys' Tolbert on Stadium Controversy: Sometimes You See the Sun More Than the Ball
November 13, 2024
The sunlight at AT&T Stadium continues to be a topic of conversation in the Dallas Cowboys locker room, with wide receiver Jalen Tolbert the latest to chime in on the issue.
"Sometimes you see the sun more than the ball," Tolbert told reporters on Wednesday.
Tolbert's comments come after star receiver CeeDee Lamb said that he believes the stadium needs curtains after he failed to catch a touchdown pass in the second quarter of Sunday's 34-6 blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles because the sunlight blocked his vision.

However, it doesn't sound like curtains are coming to AT&T Stadium anytime soon, as Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said during a radio appearance on Tuesday that they were "way down the list of improvement."
The Cowboys are riding a four-game losing streak into their matchup against the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football. Luckily for Tolbert and the rest of Dallas' receivers, the sunlight won't be an issue in the prime-time matchup.
