Rhodes will be the second WWE Superstar to be a guest picker this season after Sheamus did the honors on Aug. 24 in his hometown of Dublin, Ireland, where Georgia Tech beat Florida State 24-21.
Rhodes, a big Georgia football fan, confirmed the news on his Instagram along with his dog, Pharoah. He will also be linking up with WWE commentator Pat McAfee, a College GameDay analyst. The American Nightmare made sure to shout him out during the announcement.
Rhodes grew up in Georgia and went to Lassiter High School in Marietta, where he was a two-time state champion in wrestling.
It's pretty clear who Rhodes will be picking in the Georgia vs. Tennessee matchup, but he'll be tasked with projecting other games as well, of course. That should go down on ESPN right before College GameDay goes off the air around noon ET on Saturday. As for the Georgia game, the Bulldogs will kick off against the Volunteers at 7:30 p.m.
