The arrival of Week of the 2024 NFL season might sound an alert for fantasy football managers.

For most leagues, the fantasy playoffs are just around the corner, meaning if you haven't snagged a ticket to the big dance, you're running short on time to get one.

The stakes are significant, and your sense of urgency should be fully activated. Let's not waste any more time, then, and dive into our weekly rankings and top sleeper at each of the three flex positions. Rankings and sleeper picks based on point-per-reception (PPR) scoring format.

Running Back

1 of 3

    Top 10

    1. Christian McCaffrey, SF (vs. SEA)

    2. Joe Mixon, HOU (at DAL)

    3. Bijan Robinson, ATL (at DEN)

    4. Derrick Henry, BAL (at PIT)

    5. Alvin Kamara, NO (vs. CLE)

    6. Jahmyr Gibbs, DET (vs. JAX)

    7. De'Von Achane, MIA (vs. LV)

    8. Jonathan Taylor, IND (at NYJ)

    9. Jahmyr Gibbs, DET (vs. JAX)

    10. Breece Hall, NYJ (vs. IND)

Sleeper: Jaylen Warren, PIT (vs. BAL)

It's been a pretty underwhelming season so far for Warren. He has yet to eclipse 100 scrimmage yards in a contest and is awaiting his first touchdown.

Having said that, he is coming off his most productive contest (14 carries for 66 yards, two receptions for 29 yards), so that's hopefully a sign of better things to come. And there's no better time for them to happen, as the Ravens are tough against the run but vulnerable against the pass, which could allow Warren to wrestle control of this backfield away from Najee Harris.

Wide Receiver

    Top 10

    1. Ja'Marr Chase, CIN (at LAC)

    2. Amon-Ra St. Brown, DET (vs. JAX)

    3. Justin Jefferson, MIN (at TEN)

    4. Nico Collins, HOU (at DAL)

    5. Puka Nacua, LAR (at NE)

    6. George Pickens, PIT (vs. BAL)

    7. Cooper Kupp, LAR (at NE)

    8. Garrett Wilson, NYJ (vs. IND)

    9. DK Metcalf, SEA (at SF)

    10. Tyreek Hill, MIA (vs. LV)

Sleeper: Jameson Williams, DET (vs. JAX)

Williams' big-play potential (20.7 yards per reception) earns him at least flex consideration every time out. You don't necessarily need volume from him to walk away with a solid (or better) stat line.

Having said that, volume could be in his favor Sunday, as the Lions will be without tight end Sam LaPorta. Also working in Williams' favor is this matchup, as the Jaguars have given up the sixth-most fantasy points to the position, per Yahoo.

Tight End

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI - NOVEMBER 10: Travis Kelce #87 of the Kansas City Chiefs looks on from the field during an NFL football game against the Denver Broncos at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on November 10, 2024 in Kansas City, Missouri. (Photo by Perry Knotts/Getty Images)

    Top 10

    1. Travis Kelce, KC (at BUF)

    2. George Kittle, SF (vs. SEA)

    3. Brock Bowers, LV (at MIA)

    4. Mark Andrews, BAL (at PIT)

    5. David Njoku, CLE (at NO)

    6. T.J. Hockenson, MIN (at TEN)

    7. Evan Engram, JAX (at DET)

    8. Kyle Pitts, ATL (at DEN)

    9. Hunter Henry, NE (vs. LAR)

    10. Taysom Hill, NO (vs. CLE)

Sleeper: Dawson Knox, BUF (vs. KC)

When the Bills and Chiefs lock horns, the potential for fantasy fireworks is through the roof. And if this becomes an explosive, high-scoring affair like some previous matchups have, that will mean only good things for Knox.

He is climbing up the pass-catching pecking order by default, since Dalton Kincaid and Keon Coleman are both out while Amari Cooper is questionable. Allen could look Knox's direction early and often against a Kansas City defense allowing the second-most fantasy points to the position.
