If it were up to NFL fans, Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson would already be out of a job.

After a crushing 52-6 blowout by the Detroit Lions, the 2-9 Jaguars now have the worst record in the league.

Jaguars quarterback Mac Jones filled in for Trevor Lawrence on Sunday but failed to reach the end zone, with all six points coming from kicker Cam Little.

With the loss, Pederson and the Jaguars are currently enduring a four-game losing streak, including two losses at home.

After the game, Pederson told reporters that it was out of his control if he'd remain the team's head coach:

Pederson won't rule out making staff changes over the bye. Also says it's too soon to say whether Trevor Lawrence (left shoulder) could be ready to play after the bye.

Alongside Pederson, general manager Trent Baalke's future with the franchise is also uncertain as the team enters a bye week that will serve as a critical reevaluation period for the organization.

Prior to Sunday's loss against the Lions, sources within the organization suggested that significant changes, particularly in those two positions, would not come as a surprise, according to ESPN's Ian Rapoport.

The sentiment within the organization is that a major change is inevitable.

Despite discussions about specific positional shifts, everyone is taking accountability for the franchise's disastrous season, according to Rapoport, with one source saying, "It's all of us. Everyone has a hand in it."

While the franchise may not be pointing fingers, fans certainly are—and they're all directed at Pederson.

If Jaguars move on from Doug Pederson, the OC on the other sideline makes the most sense. Got an up-close-and-personal look by ownership on him.

I'd fire Doug Pederson and Trent Baalke now actually

There were reports this week that Doug Pederson was coaching for his job, and his players responded with one of the worst efforts any NFL team has given this season. That probably tells Shad Khan what he needs to know.

If Doug Pederson gets fired after this game, Trent Baalke needs to go with him.

Today might be the last Sunday I ever have to deal with Doug Pederson, Press Taylor and Trent Baalke pic.twitter.com/aJHfljNp76

Former NFL Agent, but who cares? @AskAnNFLAgent

The Jacksonville Jaguars are the worst team in the NFL. As Doug Pederson gets "relieved of his duties" tonight or in the morning, let's take a look back at the most memorable times during his era. pic.twitter.com/TggecX0VRJ

If a head coaching change occurs, quarterbacks coach Mike McCoy, who previously served as head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers from 2013 to 2016, would likely step in for Pederson, per Rapoport.
