November 18, 2024
As expected, Raw's debut on Netflix will be a star-studded affair.
WWE confirmed that John Cena along with SmackDown talents Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes and Bianca Blair will be on hand. Recording artist Travis Scott will be in attendance as well at Intuit Dome on Jan. 6.

Cena, who has already said 2025 will be his last year in the squared circle, indicated over the summer he marked the Netflix premiere on his schedule.
Fightful Select (via Randall Ortman of Cageside Seats) also reported earlier this month that Netflix had expressed to WWE its desire to feature Reigns, Rhodes and CM Punk on the first Raw.
It remains to be seen whether a more permanent roster reshuffle is in store.
Having Raw on Netflix and SmackDown on USA Network could change how WWE prioritizes its weekly programs. SmackDown had seemingly become the "A show" when it was broadcast on a major over-the-air network, and now it no longer has the same reach.
Another looming question is how seamless the first Netflix broadcast is. Jake Paul's win over Mike Tyson, which was aired on the streaming service, experienced numerous issues to the consternation of viewers.
WWE fans had plenty of jokes with the Raw premiere in mind.
Netflix has a month and a half to work out all of the kinks and ensure its first Raw episode is memorable for all of the right reasons.
