Basketball fans will now be able to get the NBA 2K experience while watching live NBA Cup games.

TNT Sports announced Tuesday a collaboration with NBA 2K and Genius Sports to present the NBA 2K25 DataCast as an alternative way to stream the knockout rounds of the in-season tournament on truTV and Max.

The stream will be overlaid with NBA 2K25 features, including the shot meter, badges and video game camera angles, according to TNT Sports.

Player data from Genius Sports, including shot probability and distance will also be embedded in the broadcast.

The broadcast comes with a bonus for fans who have an NBA 2K25 account. The DataCast streams include six total Locker Codes unlocking Amethyst MyTEAM packs.

The announcement marks the third time TNT Sports has debuted an alternative data-focused stream.

The network ran the NHL DataCast during the 2024 Western Conference Final between the Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars, followed by the MLB DataCast during the ALCS between the Cleveland Guardians and New York Yankees in the fall.

The first NBA 2K25 DataCast will run from Dec. 10 to Dec. 14, beginning with the start of the quarterfinal round next Tuesday in Las Vegas. Who plays in the knockout rounds will be determined when group play wraps up this Tuesday night.
