The Seattle Seahawks' running back depth will be tested this week.

The Seahawks announced Saturday that Kenneth Walker III has been downgraded to out ahead of Sunday's clash with the Arizona Cardinals.

Walker missed Thursday and Friday's practices after being listed as limited on Wednesday. Walker is dealing with ankle and calf injuries.

Walker has run for 542 yards with seven touchdowns on the season. The third-year back exceeded 900 yards in each of his prior two seasons and is the feature back for a Seattle team that is 7-5 and fighting for an NFC West title.

Zach Charbonnet figures to take the majority of carries against the Cardinals. He has 75 carries on the season and has rushed for 266 yards and five touchdowns.

Beyond Charbonnet, Kenny McIntosh will likely see some carries and the newly-elevated George Holani could see the field too. McIntosh has four carries for 16 yards while Holani has not played thus far.

Quarterback Geno Smith could also pick up some of the rushing slack as he has 45 carries for 226 yards on the season.
