Week 15 Fantasy Football Rankings: Matchups We Love and Box Score Stats Projections
Kristopher Knox@@kris_knoxWeek 15 Fantasy Football Rankings: Matchups We Love and Box Score Stats Projections

We've officially entered the final month of the 2024 NFL season. For fantasy managers, this means two things. For one, it's playoff time in most season-long leagues. Secondly, bye weeks are a thing of the past.
While managers won't have to worry about replacing players on bye, they will have to decide which stars to play in critical matchups. This could lead to some difficult decisions over the final 15 games of the week.
Here, we'll examine our favorite remaining plays of Week 15 and make some projections based on past production, projected roles and individual matchups.
All picks and analysis are based on point-per-reception (PPR) scoring.
Quarterback

1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: 318 passing yards, 3 TDs, 54 rushing yards
2. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: 288 passing yards, 3 TDs, 51 rushing yards
3. Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders: 279 passing yards, 3 TDs, 44 rushing yards
4. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: 260 passing yards, 2 TDs, 41 rushing yards
5. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals: 255 passing yards, 2 TDs, 39 rushing yards
6. Sam Darnold, Minnesota Vikings: 300 passing yards, 2 TDs
7. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals: 275 passing yards, 2 TDs
8. Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins: 270 passing yards, 2 TDs
9. Bo Nix, Denver Broncos: 269 passing yards, 2 TDs
10. Aaron Rodgers, New York Jets: 265 passing yards, 2 TDs
Matchup to Love: Aaron Rodgers at Jacksonville Jaguars
Aaron Rodgers falls at the bottom of our top 10, and he may not be a top option for many playoff-bound managers. For those who have been streaming at the position, however, the New York Jets signal-caller finally looks like a solid play.
Rodgers had one of his best games as a Jet last week against the rival Miami Dolphins. He only threw one touchdown pass, but he did throw for 339 yards while getting 100-yard games from both Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams.
This week, the Jets will visit the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. Jacksonville did a good job of slowing Will Levis and the Tennessee Titans in Week 14, but it has struggled to stop the pass pretty consistently in 2024.
Rodgers shouldn't be started ahead of dual-threat QBs like Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson, but he's worth some consideration based on the matchup.
Running Back

1. Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens: 2 receptions, 178 scrimmage yards, 2 TDs
2. Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons: 5 receptions, 122 scrimmage yards, 1 TD
3. Joe Mixon, Houston Texans: 4 receptions, 128 scrimmage yards, 1 TD
4. De'Von Achane, Miami Dolphins: 4 receptions, 126 scrimmage yards, 1 TD
5. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: 5 receptions, 110 scrimmage yards, 1 TD
6. Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals: 5 receptions, 109 scrimmage yards, 1 TD
7. Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions: 4 receptions, 112 scrimmage yards, 1 TD
8. Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers: 3 receptions, 120 scrimmage yards, 1 TD
9. Alvin Kamare, New Orleans Saints: 4 receptions, 108 scrimmage yards, 1 TD
10. Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers: 3 receptions, 110 scrimmage yards, 1 TD
Matchup to Love: Derrick Henry at New York Giants
Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry has already amassed 1,407 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns this season, and his best may be yet to come.
"Derrick hasn't had a lot of carries, a lot of wear and tear on him this year, so I think it's set up perfectly for him to finish the year like he's capable of and what we expect out of him," Ravens running backs coach Willie Taggart said, per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.
Henry should be in store for a huge day against the New York Giants, who have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing running backs.
Baltimore is a heavy favorite and is widely expected to run away with the game early. Managers should expect Henry to break off at least one long run, and he should see a fair amount of work late, as the Ravens look to close things out.
Wide Receiver

1. Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals: 11 receptions, 168 yards, 1 TD
2. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: 8 receptions, 162 yards, 1 TD
3. Nico Collins, Houston Texans: 8 receptions, 148 yards, 1 TD
4. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings: 7 receptions, 122 yards, 1 TD
5. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins: 6 receptions, 133 yards, 1 TD
6. A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles: 6 receptions, 118 yards, 1 TD
7. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: 5 receptions, 125 yards, 1 TD
8. Terry McLaurin, Washington Commanders: 6 receptions, 105 yards, 1 TD
9. Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 5 receptions, 101 yards, 1 TD
10. Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos: 5 receptions, 99 yards, 1 TD
Matchup to Love: Tyreek Hill at Houston Texans
Compared to last season, Tyreek Hill's 2024 campaign has been a bit of a disappointment. However, he's been better with Tua Tagovailoa back behind center for the Dolphins.
Against a good Jets defense in Week 14, Hill tallied 115 yards and a touchdown on 10 receptions.
While Hill may not see as many catches against the Houston Texans this week, he should have opportunities for longer plays. The Texans haven't been particularly good against the pass and have surrendered the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts.
The Dolphins, meanwhile, have started to slip defensively over the last couple of weeks. This could be a high-scoring game that sees Miami lean on the pass early and often.
Tight End

1. Brock Bowers, Las Vegas Raiders: 10 receptions, 135 yards, 1 TD
2. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs, 7 receptions, 107 yards, 1 TD
3. Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals; 6 receptions, 88 yards, 1 TD
4. T.J. Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings: 5 receptions, 82 yards, 1 TD
5. David Njoku, Cleveland Browns: 5 receptions, 80 yards, 1 TD
6. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: 5 receptions, 88 yards
7. Joonu Smith, Miami Dolphins: 5 receptions, 81 yards
8. Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers: 5 receptions, 78 yards
9. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: 5 receptions, 75 yards
10. Evan Engram, Jacksonville Jaguars: 5 receptions 69 yards
Matchup to Love: Travis Kelce at Cleveland Browns
Managers should actually love both tight ends in this week's matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns. The Browns have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends, while the Chiefs have surrendered the third-most.
We'll give Travis Kelce a fairly significant edge over David Njoku, however. This is because Kelce remains Patrick Mahomes' go-to target in almost any critical situation. Njoku is a top target for Cleveland, but receiver Jerry Jeudy has been heavily targeted with Jameis Winston behind center.
Kelce has been targeted no fewer than six times in any of his last three games, and he's caught five or more passes in six of his last seven. He should be targeted heavily again this week, as Kansas City needs to keep winning to secure the No. 1 seed.
Las Vegas Raiders rookie Brock Bowers may have taken over as fantasy's top tight end this season, but Kelce is still a top option in the fantasy playoffs.
