Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown expects to play in Week 16 against the Washington Commanders.

Brown told reporters, "I'm playing," in response to questions about his status for the matchup.

Brown was listed as a limited participant on Thursday due to a knee injury.

Brown told reporters he didn't know exactly how he suffered the injury. He said the play late in the team's win over the Pittsburgh Steelers where his leg was landed on awkwardly did not contribute to the knee issue.

Brown has 56 catches for 946 yards and five touchdowns this season. He is the Eagles' leading receiver and is a key reason why the team has gone 12-2 and rattled off 10 straight wins.

Before Friday's practice, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said, "we'll see," in terms of whether he expects Brown to be active for Sunday's matchup.
