Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk: Judges' Scorecards Revealed for Rematch Fight
December 22, 2024
The judges' scorecards have been revealed for Oleksandr Usyk's unanimous decision win over Tyson Fury on Saturday in Saudi Arabia, allowing the Ukrainian to retain the WBA, WBC WBO and IBO heavyweight boxing titles.
Mike Coppinger @MikeCoppingerOleksandr Usyk retains the heavyweight championship with a unanimous decision victory over Tyson Fury via the same score on all three cards: 116-112. Very close fight. But that's why Usyk is the best pound-for-pound in the world. #UsykFury2
Usyk moved to 23-0 (14 knockouts) with the unanimous decision victory.
Although all three judges ended up with 116-112 scores in favor of Usyk, they certainly didn't arrive there in the same fashion. The judges agreed on five rounds (4, 5, 6, 10 and 11), but differed on the other seven.
After the 10th round, Usyk was winning 97-93 on one card and 96-94 on the two others. He then won the 11th round, giving him a massive edge on the card going into the 12th. Usyk then won that round on two judges' cards to earn the win.
The CompuBox stats certainly favored Usyk in this one as well:
CompuBox @CompuBox12/21 DAZN- Usyk W 12 Fury II. Usyk again was the boss down the stretch, punctuating the win by throwing fight highs in 11th & 12th and landing 54% of his power punches over last 5 rounds. Usyk landed 78 body shots & 179 punches, most by a Fury opponent. pic.twitter.com/kyds1Rplbx
It's unclear where Usyk goes from here, but Daniel Dubois wants a rematch based on his post-match confrontation in the ring.

As for Fury, this is a tough loss, falling to Usyk for the second time. Fury has only ever lost to Usyk, going a tremendous 34-0-1 professionally otherwise.
