The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will try to follow up one of the most comprehensive wins of the season with a road triumph on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys.

Baker Mayfield and Co. torched the Los Angeles Chargers for 40 points and 506 total yards last week.

A similar fate might await the Cowboys, who enter Week 16 with a worse defense than the Chargers.

Dallas comes into Sunday with a small chance to get into the postseason as a wild-card team in the NFC.

The Cowboys won three of their last four games behind Cooper Rush. They eclipsed the 20-point mark in all of their last four contests.

The recent offensive form of both teams suggests that Sunday night will, at minimum, be an exciting game to cap off a busy Sunday across the NFL.

    Spread: Tampa Bay (-4)

    Over/Under: 48.5

Money Line: Tampa Bay (-218; bet $218 to win $100); Dallas (+180; bet $100 to win $180)

Tampa Bay owns one of the better against the spread records in the NFL at 9-5.

The Bucs are 5-1 ATS in their last six games and have covered the spread both times they were listed as a favorite of four points or less.

Dallas is tied for the fourth-worst ATS record in the NFL at 5-9, but it has covered in three of the last four games.

The Cowboys are 4-7 ATS as an underdog in 2024.

Dallas' recent games have trended toward the over as well. The Cowboys hit the over in three of the last four, while Tampa Bay is 2-3 to the over in the last five after starting the season with a 7-2 mark to the over.

    Mike Evans Over/Under 5.5 Receptions & Over/Under 81.5 Receiving Yards

Mike Evans will be one of the most popular players on the Week 16 prop market.

Evans is coming off a nine-catch, 152-yard, two-touchdown performance against the Chargers.

Now he gets a matchup with a Cowboys defense that allowed 359 passing yards to the Cincinnati Bengals two weeks ago.

Evans and Mayfield could combined to torch the Dallas defense, much like Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase did in primetime in Week 14.

Evans has had at least 68 receiving yards in each of the four games since his return from injury. He had 26 catches across that span as well.

Baker Mayfield Over/Under 248.5 Passing Yards

Mayfield could torch the Dallas defense in a similar manner to what he did against the Chargers in Week 15.

Dallas has allowed over 250 passing yards on five occasions this season. Three of those concessions came at home against Cincinnati, the Houston Texans and Detroit Lions.

Two other Dallas opponents hit the 240-yard mark through the air.

Mayfield's had at least 235 passing yards in each of the last four games. He threw for 288 yards and four scores last week and had 295 yards and three touchdowns two weeks ago against the Las Vegas Raiders.

    CeeDee Lamb Over/Under 6.5 Receptions & Over/Under 73.5 Receiving Yards

CeeDee Lamb is the first Dallas player you should turn to every week for prop bets.

Lamb is far and away the top target inside the Cowboys offense, and his production has not dipped much in the last few weeks with Rush at quarterback.

Lamb just put up 116 yards on nine catches against the Carolina Panthers in Week 15. He had 93 yards off six catches against Cincinnati two weeks ago.

Rush has to get Lamb involved early and often if the Cowboys want to be competitive with a Buccaneers offense that is flying high at the moment.

Tampa Bay has held three of its last four opponents under 200 passing yards, but that number may not affect Lamb, who is a high-volume target in any matchup.

Rico Dowdle Over/Under 71.5 Rushing Yards

Rico Dowdle's been the breakout star of the Cowboys' recent winning run.

The No. 1 running back is on a streak of three consecutive 100-yard games.

However, Sunday's matchup might be too difficult for Dowdle to produce another total over the century mark.

Tampa Bay held its last five opponents under 100 rushing yards, and last week against the Chargers, the Bucs held them to just 32 rushing yards.

If Dallas wants to win to keep its faint playoff hopes alive, it likely has to heavily rely on the Rush-Lamb connection.
