The PNC Championship brought the drama on Sunday.

Team Woods and Team Langer finished all knotted up at 28 under through 36 holes, setting up a dramatic playoff with the title in stake. And the day belonged to Team Langer, winning on the first playoff hole after Bernhard Langer's eagle putt.

Tiger and Charlie have now appeared in five PNC Championships together, with their previous best result a tie for second place in 2021. They finished tied for fifth last year. Bernhard Langer and his son Jason, meanwhile, were the tournament's defending champions.

The elder Langer said on Saturday that he was glad to see Team Woods in the mix.

"It's great for the tournament and happy for them," he told reporters. "Should be fun for the crowd tomorrow to come out and watch everybody play."

That proved prophetic, as the two teams locked in an epic duel throughout Sunday's decisive round, finishing five strokes ahead of any other team in the field. Ultimately, Team Langer had one more hole of magic in the tank than Team Woods.

Regardless, it was one heck of a show.
