Michael Penix Jr. is one of the few reliable quarterbacks left on the fantasy football waiver wire for Week 17.

The Atlanta Falcons rookie threw for 202 yards in the first start of his career in Week 16.

Penix did not put up eye-popping numbers, but compared to the other options on the waiver wire, he is a must-add if you're in need of a signal-caller for fantasy championship weekend.

There aren't too many breakout stars left on the waiver wire, but Denver Broncos running back Audric Estime and Tennessee Titans tight end Chig Okonkwo should have your attention.

Penix turned in a solid debut for the Falcons.

The left-handed signal-caller out of Washington completed 66.7 percent of his passes to go along with his 202 passing yards.

Penix should be considered as a waiver-wire pickup if your current quarterback has a bad matchup in Week 17, or injuries are hurting your squad.

The Week 17 matchup with the Washington Commanders isn't the best, but the NFC East has been susceptible to high passing-yard concessions this season.

If your fantasy leagues extend into Week 18, Penix is worth the pickup now because the Falcons play the Carolina Panthers in a game that could decide the Falcons' postseason fate.

Audric Estime

Audric Estime has been on the fantasy football waiver-wire radar for a few weeks now.

The Broncos rookie may have finally broken out in Week 16 with a touchdown and 48 rushing yards on nine carries.

Estime is competing with Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin for snaps, but at least in Week 16, he was the tailback of choice for Sean Payton.

Estime is one of the few running backs worth picking up at this stage of the fantasy season because of his role compared to backups on other squads.

Denver can clinch a playoff berth with a Week 17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, so the Broncos need their best running back on the field, and if we're going off Week 16, Estime is that player.

Chig Okonkwo

Chig Okonkwo's target share has gone through the roof in the last two weeks.

The Titans tight end has 17 catches off 21 targets in that span.

He hasn't found the end zone, but he's put up the requisite yardage for a tight end to be trusted in a fantasy lineup.

Okonkwo picked up a season-high 81 receiving yards in Tennessee's failed comeback attempt versus the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

He should be utilized at a high rate in the final two weeks, and in Week 17, he gets an ideal matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have been ravaged by tight ends for most of the season, including Brock Bowers in Week 16.
