Former NFL running back Le'Veon Bell has lofty goals for his budding boxing career, as he's taken aim at heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.

"Put me in front of Usyk, I'm the only shot the U.S. got, I'm the only f--king shot," Bell declared in an interview with TMZ Sports.

Usyk defeated former champion Tyson Fury for the second straight time, earning a unanimous decision win on Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to retain his belts.

Bell said he was "very impressed" with Usyk's performance and called the champion "the only one I look at in the ring and be like, 'Damn, that's a guy right now that might be able to give me a problem.'"

Bell has fought in three career boxing matches and has a professional record of 2-1 with no knockouts. Usyk improved to 23-0 on Saturday and has 14 knockouts in his career.

Bell likely could use a few more fights before he chases a matchup against an undefeated champion, but it's good that he has the confidence to call for the fight at this stage in his boxing journey.
