Keion White says he hopes the 3-13 New England Patriots are on track to make major changes this offseason.

"If changes aren't made, then what are we doing?" White asked after the Patriots recorded a sixth straight loss on Saturday with a 40-7 defeat by the Los Angeles Chargers (h/t Mike Giardi of Boston Sports Journal).

White continued, per the Boston Herald's Doug Kyed: "Again, NFL is a production-based business, so if we're not doing anything to change our production, which is loss, what are we doing?"

When asked what changes he was hoping for, White answered, "That's not for me to decide. First and foremost, I'm changing me, changing how I play the game."

White then declined to answer whether he felt like he was being coached well (h/t NBC Sports Boston's Phil Perry.)

"I'm not doing the evaluations of the coaching staff. I'm not the one who makes the decisions," White said. "My opinion really doesn't matter."

Patriots wideout Pop Douglas sounded similarly dispirited after Saturday's loss.

"I'm just tired of losing," Douglas said, per Giardi.

The Patriots last won a game on Nov. 10 in Week 10 action against the Chicago Bears. The team has been eliminated from playoff contention since Week 13.

New England was outgained 428-181 by the Chargers on Saturday. Rookie quarterback Drake Maye, who briefly left the game for a concussion evaluation, finished with a touchdown pass and a turnover for the eighth straight contest.

The home team was booed off the field at Gillette Stadium as the Chargers celebrated clinching a playoff berth. The Patriots have now gone 2-14 at home over the last two seasons.

"Could have been better class from the fans with the booing and stuff like that," Patriots defensive tackle Davon Godchaux said after the game, per Mass Live's Chris Mason. "It is embarrassing, I get it, but you're playing for pride at the end of the day."

In addition to their home record and three-year playoff drought, the Patriots could have their relationship with White to worry about.

The defensive end recently questioned his future with the Patriots, who drafted him with the No. 46 pick in 2023, in an interview published on Friday by MassLive's Karen Guregian.

"I'm going to try to get through these next two games, and then figure it out after that, and see where the cards may lie for my future," White said, per Guregian.

Players' public calls for change in Foxborough could increase the pressure on first-year head coach Jerod Mayo. The first-year head coach said after the game he could hear chants from the crowd calling for him to be fired as the Patriots lost a 13th game for the second consecutive season.
