Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and wide receiver Xavier Worthy have been fined $14,069 apiece for unsportsmanlike conduct following their respective touchdown celebrations during the team's 29-10 road win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Worthy caught a seven-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter. Afterward, he pretended to show a gun in his waistband. The NFL fined him for that act, citing a "violent gesture."

Kelce snagged a 12-yard TD in the fourth quarter, breaking Pro Football Hall of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez's franchise touchdown record in the process. Afterward, he paid homage to Gonzalez with the legend's patented "slam dunk" celebration over the crossbar.

That act has since been banned, and the NFL cited the "use of prop" for the Kelce fine, which Gonzalez said he will help pay.

Worthy and Kelce certainly don't want to take those hits to their game checks, but it's all smiles in Kansas City right now otherwise.

The Chiefs are 15-1 and enter their final regular season game having already clinched the AFC's No. 1 seed. They are looking to become the first team in NFL history to win three straight Super Bowls.

Worthy, Kelce and many (or all) Chiefs starters should be getting a well-deserved rest Sunday when the Denver Broncos host Kansas City.

Worthy has been a great asset to the offense, catching 59 passes for 638 yards and six touchdowns during his rookie year. His receiving yardage is second on the team, and his receiving touchdown mark is first.

Kelce is still excelling in his 11th NFL season, catching a team-high 97 passes to go along with a team-high 823 yards and three scores. His 77 receiving touchdowns represent an all-time franchise record.

The Chiefs will visit the Broncos Sunday. Afterward, they'll await their Divisional Round opponent and will host that game on Saturday, Jan. 18 or Sun., Jan. 19.
