The NFL always attempts to promote parity with its schedule, and next season's slate is no different.

There are some similarities with every team playing three home games and three road games against divisional foes. What's more, teams within a division will all play the same four teams from another division within its conference and the same four teams from a division in the other conference.

However, the parity promotion comes when teams face two intraconference opponents and one interconference opponent based on the prior season's standings. So, teams that finished in last place in their division during the 2024 campaign should, in theory, face easier schedules than the rest of the teams in their divisions.

Whether that will create significant differences in next season's playoff field remains to be seen, but teams now at least know who they will face during the 2025 campaign.
