Bills 31, Broncos 7

The Broncos had their season come to an end at the hands of the Bills behind another strong performance by MVP frontrunner Josh Allen, who threw for 272 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions on 20-of-26 passing.

Denver showed some fight early, with rookie quarterback Bo Nix capping off the team's opening drive with a 43-yard touchdown pass to Troy Franklin.

However, besides a successful fake punt on fourth down in the second quarter, that was the last bit of positivity for the Broncos. Nix finished with 144 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions on 13-of-22 passing while also leading the team with 43 rushing yards.

It's clear that Nix could use some talent around him, so it can be expected that Denver will be targeting an offensive skill position player with their first-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft. B/R's NFL Scouting Department predicted that the Broncos would select Michigan tight end Colston Loveland with the No. 21 pick in its latest mock draft.

After an impressive turnaround in its second year under head coach Sean Payton, Denver's future looks bright. The team will now turn the page to preparing for the draft in hopes of adding another playmaker.

Eagles 22, Packers 10

The Eagles sent the Packers home with a strong defensive performance, as Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love was picked off three times in the loss. Philadelphia also recovered a fumble on the opening kickoff, setting the tone for the defensive masterpiece.

While the Packers had a strong defensive performance themselves, limiting the Eagles to 290 total yards, they were unable to generate any turnovers to keep pace with their opponents.

B/R's NFL Scouting Department has the Packers selecting Notre Dame cornerback Benjamin Morrison with their first-round pick in its latest mock draft. Green Bay already used a pair of selections in the 2024 draft to add nickel back Javon Bullard and safety Evan Williams, so drafting Morrison would further solidify the team's secondary.

The Packers went 11-6 this season and showed they could keep up with the elite teams in the NFL, but they will need to continue adding talent through the draft if they hope to enter the next threshold and become contenders for the Super Bowl.

Commanders 23, Buccaneers 20

The Buccaneers' season ended in heartbreaking fashion, as Commanders kicker Zane Gonzalez doinked in a walk-off field goal to send Washington to the Divisional Round.

Veteran quarterback Baker Mayfield was efficient with 185 yards and two touchdowns on 15-of-18 passing, but he lost a key fumble in the fourth quarter that led to a Commanders touchdown on the next possession.

Tampa Bay was outgained 350-284 in Sunday's loss, so it would make sense for the team to prioritize improving its defense this offseason. In its latest mock draft, B/R's NFL Scouting Department predicted that the Bucs would select Georgia linebacker Jalon Walker, the reigning Butkus Award winner.

A strong offense alone won't be enough to make Tampa Bay a contender for the Super Bowl, so achieving balance on both sides of the ball will be the team's primary goal as it prepares for the 2025 draft.
