WWE Rumors: Nikki Bella in Contract Talks to Return After Raw Appearance

After surprising fans with an appearance on Raw on Netflix a few weeks ago, it sounds like former WWE Superstar Nikki Bella has even more good news in store.

According to TMZ, Bella "is in talks to make a potential comeback" with WWE.

Bella's last in-ring appearance for WWE was the 2022 Women's Royal Rumble. TMZ noted that a "source close to" her confirmed that talks between her and the company are underway and said that she's already been training in case an agreement is reached.

The two sides reportedly began discussions following Bella's appearance on the premiere episode of Raw on Netflix earlier this month.

Along with her twin sister Brie, Bella made her debut with WWE in 2008 and went on to become one of the greatest women's wrestlers of her generation. She was a two-time Divas Champion and holds the record for the longest title reign in that belt's history. The Bella Twins were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2020.

TMZ spoke to the Bella Twins last May, and they both said they weren't ruling out the possibility of returning to the ring, but it would have to be the right time.

"The itch is there for sure," Nikki said. "I think that's the one thing that I realized -- right now with Matteo being a toddler, it would just be too hard for me."

A year later, it sounds like it's now more doable for Nikki. Perhaps she will be back in time for the road to WrestleMania 41, which begins with the 2025 Royal Rumble on Feb. 1.
