Quinshon Judkins Declares for 2025 NFL Draft After OSU's CFP Title Win
January 24, 2025
Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins is looking to capitalize on the momentum he built up by helping the Buckeyes win the College Football Playoff Championship by turning pro.
Judkins told ESPN's Pete Thamel he is declaring for the 2025 NFL draft.
Judkins is ending his Buckeyes tenure on a high note after scoring three touchdowns in Monday's 34-23 victory over Notre Dame. He also led the team with 121 yards from scrimmage (100 rushing).
After spending the previous two years at Mississippi, Judkins transferred to Ohio State in January 2024. He led the Buckeyes in rushing attempts (194), rushing yards (1,060) and rushing touchdowns (14) in 16 games this season.
Judkins was an extremely productive player in each of his three college seasons. He ran for more than 1,000 yards in all three years, ranking seventh in FBS with 1,567 yards as a freshman in 2022.
The inclusion of Judkins adds another dynamic player to what is shaping up to be a very good running back class. He's been a quality receiver out of the backfield with 59 career receptions.
B/R's NFL scouting department has Judkins ranked as the No. 8 running back and No. 70 overall player in the 2025 draft. Boise State's Ashton Jeanty is the best of the bunch, but Omarion Hampton of North Carolina also has a first-round grade.
Dame Parson's scouting report notes Judkins "boasts a scheme-versatile conceptual fit" with the "blend of size, strength, and speed needed to become an impact running back" at the next level.
Judkins' consistently high level of play in the SEC and Big Ten should have him ready to step in as an NFL player right away.
