The USC Trojans had what most would consider a disappointing season, ending up 7-6. They played tough against the best opponents, like Notre Dame and Penn State, but lost games to Maryland, Washington, and Minnesota that they should not have.

A 6-1 record for starting quarterback Jayden Maiava and a big Las Vegas Bowl win gave fans something to be excited about entering 2025 and a recruitment class that includes a five-star quarterback will only enhance that anticipation for the future of program.

Who is that coveted QB and which other players are on their way into Los Angeles, committing to the program and the process?

Find out with this look at the 2025 USC class.

Top Recruit: Husan Longstreet

3 of 3

Longstreet is a big-armed quarterback whose ability to make awe-inspiring throws down field in one of his finest traits. He is a dual-threat quarterback who can uncork a bomb downfield or take off running and pick up a chunk of yardage that way. He will excel in run/pass option situations, but does have some weaknesses that the Trojans coaching staff will have to work on.

247 Sports' Director of Scouting Andrew Ivins wrote that the quarterback out of Corona "Still progressing as a passer and learning how to be a high-efficiency distributor who can change speeds and utilize touch when needed."

He added that his, "accuracy fluctuated and he failed to protect the football (threw two interceptions against Santa Margarita and two more against Lone Peak while also losing a fumble)."

As a senior, Longstreet played nine games, threw 19 touchdowns and just four interceptions. He added six scores on the ground.

The incoming QB will likely sit behind incumbent starter Jayden Maiava, who played in six regular season games, winning five and throwing seven touchdowns to three interceptions. In the Las Vegas Bowl against Texas A&M, he hurled another four touchdowns and and three interceptions.
