Netflix dropped a teaser trailer for Happy Gilmore 2 on Wednesday, and it features numerous golf superstars, including Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler, as well as starring actor Adam Sandler.

The trailer hasn't dropped yet, but this teaser showcased a host of golfers on set. Some of them were wearing the infamous gold "Tour Championship" jacket from the original movie that Gilmore's arch-nemesis, Shooter McGavin, coveted so much.

The sequel to the classic 1996 film Happy Gilmore is set for an undetermined release date this year.

However, Sandler said last December on the Dan Patrick Show that the movie could be ready to stream in July.

"I don't know 100 percent, but I think around July," Sandler said, per Ryan Gajewski of Hollywood Reporter. "Not July 4th, but we're trying to get it done in time for July. You never know what's going to happen. We're just finishing today — it's the last day."

Filming wrapped up on the movie in December.
