Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and Jordan Brand member Jalen Hurts just led his team to a 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday in New Orleans.

After the game, Jordan Brand dropped a "Love Hurts" commercial celebrating the quarterback after the big win.

LOVE, HURTS. <a href="https://twitter.com/Jumpman23?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@Jumpman23</a> <a href="https://t.co/BnbbriWIvh">pic.twitter.com/BnbbriWIvh</a>

Hurts won Super Bowl MVP honors after accounting for three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing), 221 yards on 17-of-22 passes and 72 rushing yards on 11 carries.

Hurts has overcome plenty of on-field obstacles in his football career just to get to this point. He was once infamously benched for Tua Tagovailoa in the middle of a national championship game in Jan. 2018 and saw his team beat Georgia 23-20 for the title while standing on the sidelines. Hurts never got his job back, and he eventually transferred to Oklahoma, where he starred for the Sooners.

He wasn't a highly touted NFL draft prospect, going in the second round to the Eagles in 2020 while they had a starter entrenched at QB1 in Carson Wentz. However, Wentz struggled amid the team's struggles, and Hurts took over and never looked back.

Hurts found immediate success in the form of a 2021 playoff appearance and enjoyed a great campaign in 2022 before the Eagles fell to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

The next year saw Philadelphia start 10-1 before disaster struck in the form of a 1-6 finish (including playoffs). The offense stalled, Hurts struggled, and there were certainly questions going into 2024.

But Hurts erased them all capped by his Super Bowl MVP performance. Now he has something no one can ever take from him in the form of a Lombardi Trophy, and he'll forever be an Eagle legend.
