Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Headline FIFA 20 Top 100 Player Ratings
September 9, 2019
Barcelona's Lionel Messi will be the top-rated player to use in FIFA 20, narrowly beating out Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo by a single point.
Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar completes the top three. Here are this year's top-rated players:
The full top 100 can be found here.
Messi and Ronaldo were the highest-rated players last year, both coming in at 94. The latter won't actually play for Juventus in this year's game, with Konami holding the exclusive right to the team. EA Sports will call the Italian champions "Piemonte Calcio."
The two rivals have been the top-rated players in the game for years now:
Neymar has yet to play for PSG this season after a drawn-out transfer saga, but the inactivity and the injury trouble that held him back last season haven't cost him in the game, as he checks in with an identical 92 rating.
Belgian duo Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne also have the same rating as last year, while both Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak and Barcelona's Marc-Andre ter Stegen overtook Manchester United's David De Gea in the goalkeeper rankings.
The Spaniard dropped a couple of points, per Bleacher Report's Nick Akerman:
Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk, who was voted UEFA Men's Player of the Season after playing a starring role in his team's Champions League run, is the highest-rated defender.
FIFA 20 will be officially released September 27.
