We Go to the Scorecards...
118-110 Canelo, 115-113 GGG...
114-114...
We have a DRAW!
BR Unofficial Scorecard: GGG 116, Canelo 112
This will be an interesting decision. We had it 8-4 in rounds for GGG, but a 7-5 scorecard seems very reasonable.
Round 12: Canelo vs. GGG
Just 30 seconds left in the fight. Canelo looks frustrated. GGG still throwing.
Round 12: Canelo vs. GGG
Listen, Canelo has GUTS. This guy is a warrior. Of the first order. But GGG should be ahead here.
BR Unofficial Scorecard: GGG 106, Canelo 103
Round 11 was a swing round that we shaded to Canelo. Final round about to begin! Fight on the table?
Round 11: Canelo vs. GGG
Better looking round for Canelo. He seems to have gotten a bit more spring back into his step. GGG still pressuring. This is a GREAT fight.
BR Unofficial Scorecard: GGG 97, Canelo 93
You could argue, based on his early flurry, that Canelo might've stolen that round. But GGG dominated the second half and landed the damaging shots. Alvarez has nothing left on his punches.
Don't See It as an Even Fight
Golovkin has taken command in the second half. Unless you gave Alvarez all the early rounds.
Round 10: Canelo vs. GGG
Canelo comes out swinging for a home run in Round 10. He's throwing it all out there! GGG seems to be taking it well. Is this Canelo's last stand? Or can he change the fight around?
BR Unofficial Scorecard: GGG 87, Canelo 84
GGG in total command now. Canelo still fighting back with all he's got, but the sting is off his punches and Golovkin's physical and mental pressure are firmly the story now.
Round 9: Canelo vs. GGG
Canelo on the ropes with his hands down. He's clearly tired, but that's a really risky strategy.
That Was the Shot He Needed
But GGG walked right through.
Round 9: Canelo vs. GGG
Canelo is getting overwhelmed now, but he's still fighting. The guy has no quit in him! Golovkin surging!
BR Unofficial Scorecard: GGG 77, Canelo 75
Canelo needs to land something to shift the dynamic. GGG surging and landing the bigger shots with more consistency. Canelo needs to buy some time and space.
Round 8: Canelo vs. GGG
GGG allowing Canelo to stay in the center more in this round, but the Mexican looks tired. His punches don't have the same snap on them that they did in the earlier rounds. GGG is surging and that power is accumulating.
BR Unofficial Card: GGG 67, Canelo 66
That was GGG's best round of the fight. He was in total control, using his jab and bullying Canelo to the ropes. Not sure if Alvarez just took that round off or if GGG's pressure is starting to get to him.
GGG's Pressure Changing the Fight
Canelo looks like he's either tired or taking a round off. GGG totally in command, pushing Alvarez to the ropes and landing.
Round 7: Canelo vs. GGG
Golovkin getting closer. He's upping the pressure on Canelo, both mental and physical. Canelo weathering it, but he's finding himself closer and closer to the ropes more and more.
BR Unofficial Card: GGG 57, Canelo 57
Close Round 6. Could've swung either way, but slightly favored Canelo. GGG is coming on though. Momentum shifting a bit.
Round 6: Canelo vs. GGG
Same pattern here. In the center Canelo uses his speed and body punching to keep GGG at bay. Along the ropes Golovkin has opportunities. Most of this round has been in the center.
BR Unofficial Scorecard: GGG 48, Canelo 47
Good Round 5 for GGG. Canelo missed on most of his big shots, but GGG landed some nice right hands along the rope. That overhand right was the biggest punch of the night for either man.
Round 5: Canelo vs. GGG
Canelo on the ropes just ate a mean right hand from GGG. He shook his head, but that usually means you got me in boxing.
Round 5: Canelo vs. GGG
Canelo has done a masterful job of forcing GGG to fight his pace. Golovkin still sticking to the jab, but, even with Canelo on the ropes he's reluctant to let his hands go.
BR Unofficial Card: Canelo 38, GGG 38
Going to be interesting if this goes the distance. GGG landing a bunch of jabs. Canelo flashier, but a lot of his shots are being blocked.
Round 4: Canelo vs. GGG
Canelo making a mistake in this round by going to the ropes and languishing there. He's controlling in the center but giving GGG opportunities along the ropes.
BR Unofficial Scorecard: Canelo 29, GGG 28
Very good round for Canelo in the third. He just flat out boxed GGG in there. He landed a couple of uppercuts, which is a punch that GGG is open for, and continued to dig to the body. The Kazakh wrecking ball looks a little stiff at the moment.
Round 3: Canelo vs. GGG
Golovkin sticking to the jab. Canelo countering to the body every time GGG misses with his right hand. Both guys playing to their strengths.
BR Unofficial Card: GGG 19, Canelo 19
One round apiece.
Canelo with some nice body shots in the second frame to take the round. That's money in the bank.
Round 2: Canelo vs. GGG
Nobody has landed a big shot yet. A lot of punches being blocked, but the crowd in the arena goes wild any time they hear that sounds. Canelo lands a short uppercrut counter toward the end of the round.
Round 2: Canelo vs. GGG
GGG fighting at a careful pace and giving Canelo plenty of respect. That's giving Canelo the opportunity to remain comfortable and dart in with shots of his own.
BR Unofficial Card
Golovkin 10, Canelo 9
GGG landed a few nice jabs in the opening frame. Canelo snuck in a couple of counters, but it was Golovkin pressing more of the action.
Round 1: Canelo vs. GGG
Canelo not really engaging much yet. He's mostly moving his feet and trying to keep some distance. Golovkin trying to measure with his jab and walk Alvarez down.
That's GGG's Key to the Fight
If he can land that and set up his power it could be big trouble for Canelo.
Round 1: Canelo vs. GGG
It's finally here! The bell has rung for Round 1, and we're underway for the middleweight title!
LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!

Diaz-Rivera Scorecards Coming Up
Should be a wide decision for JoJo Diaz, who controlled every round.
Round 12: Diaz vs. Rivera
Rivera comes out aggressive, needing the knockout to win. Problem is he's landed some big shots already with very little return. Doesn't seem likely he'll find the eraser.
Round 11: Diaz vs. Rivera
Diaz about to take the next step and become the mandatory challenger to Gary Russell Jr. for the WBC Featherweight Championship. Russell, with his speed and power, given the way Rivera has been able to land, has to be licking his chops.
Basically
Diaz has the technical skill, but he lacks the type of power that can really excite the fans. He's winning this fight with superior craft, which gets the job done but isn't going to win a lot of new fans.
That Ship Has Sailed...
Diaz cruising...
Round 9: Diaz vs. Rivera
Diaz starting to open up the attack a bit more now. Rivera with less coming back in return as he looks to be tiring.
There's Hope Yet!
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn
Let's just be honest. This fight has become tedious and boring. Rivera is trying but he just doesn't have the power to really ding Diaz. And he's hit him plenty, albeit more early in the fight than the last couple rounds.
Round 7: Diaz vs. Rivera
Diaz has firmly taken control now. His technical skill is too much for Rivera.
Round 6: Diaz vs. Rivera
Diaz is winning rounds and most of the exchanges, but Rivera still landing more clean rights than the Diaz camp is probably comfortable with.
Yes, But...
A boring clinic. Zapping the energy.
Diaz beginning to rise to the top, but in a way that's very tactical and not necessarily fan friendly.
Round 4: Diaz vs. Rivera
Big flurry to end Round 4 from Diaz. Rivera didn't respond at all. He was too busy trying to defend himself.
This Fight Ain't Doing It...
Round 4: Diaz vs. Rivera
This is an extremely tactical fight. Not the kind of thing that gets the fans jumping. Action is decent but not sustained. Both guys picking spots.
Round 3: Diaz vs. Rivera
These guys are going tit-for-tat, which favors Rivera. Diaz shouldn't be fighting a turn-based fight.
Round 2: Diaz vs. Rivera
JoJo Diaz much quicker, but Rivera returning fire with some mean intent.
Round 1: Diaz vs. Rivera
Rivera landed a nice right hand on Diaz in that round. Lots of feeling out from both guys.
Round 1: Diaz vs. Rivera
Interesting situation here. Rivera jumped in when Jorge Lara showed up to the grand arrivals on Tuesday seemingly overweight and then suddenly developed a back injury. In steps Rivera, who was scheduled to fight next week anyway. Wonder what he has for Diaz.
Diaz vs. Rivera Coming Up!
Rivera is undefeated, and his biggest win came over a well past it Wilfredo Vazquez Jr., but he has nothing on his resume that says he's prepared for a guy like JoJo Diaz.
Final Undercard Bout Next!
Not wasting any time, and we're at our final undercard bout.
Joseph "JoJo" Diaz (24-0, 13 KO) vs. Rafael Rivera (25-0-2, 16 KO).
Diaz a heavy favorite as Rivera is a late replacement after original opponent Jorge Lara withdrew from the fight.
Right Call
De La Hoya was dominant. The best win of his career. A complete performance.
De La Hoya UD 10 Caballero
100-90, 98-92, 98-92 for the winner by unanimous decision...
Diego De La Hoya!!
De La Hoya moves to 20-0.
Caballero falls to 24-1.
Rematch Only Option for Canelo, GGG
